Dear Shirley Kerry Catherine Fiona and families I met Michael when he was in his early 80s He was a generous mentor and supervisor of my PhD on human environment relations in a Bahun village in Gorkha Nepal and since became a valued friendWe shared many dinners and lunches together often with Rose Neil and Linda He was the kindest and most generous of men I will miss him dearly Thinking of you all Thank you for sharing him with us With sincere condolences for your loss Sascha
